Our love story began in the most romantic setting possible: a global pandemic and an apocalyptic wildfire season in the Bay Area, where our only option for human contact was swiping on Bumble. Since we couldn’t date indoors (COVID) and couldn’t date outdoors (fires), I took a massive leap of faith. I invited a total stranger into my home and made him dinner.
Luckily, Sean turned out to be a sweet, normal guy, and not the main character of a true-crime documentary. Unluckily, he immediately stole the #1 spot in my dog Ludo’s heart, brutally relegating me to a distant #2.
We fell in love with each other while doing all of our favorite things: hiking Mt. Tamalpais, eating our way through Oakland, catching concerts at The Fox, and escaping on day trips to Napa. But after nine years for me and four years for Sean, we decided it was time to trade the fog for the sun.
Three years after that fateful, smoky first date, we made the move back down to Southern California. We are so incredibly happy to be closer to our parents, soaking up the pool and beach weather, and reconnecting with old friends. Starting our family unit closer to where we both grew up means the world to us. We are so grateful for the love and support you’ve shown us, and we absolutely cannot wait to celebrate our next chapter with you!
